Originally, visiting so-called "lost places" was purely for location scouting for shootings. The fascination that grabbed me quickly developed into a very special part of my photography that I wouldn't want to be without. What particularly appeals to me is the breath of life that can still be felt in the respective buildings ... rusty, worn, equipped with personal belongings that no one misses and no longer needs.
